Acceptance

the Youngest children,

Watch them closely,

They fall,

Fully absorbed in their fall,

Their tears flow outward,

Not holding onto their tears.

The youngest children,

Watch them closely,

As they laugh,

Fully absorbed in their joy,

Letting laughter flow,

Not holding on,

To pain or joy,

As good or bad,

pain and joy simply here.

Watch the youngest children,

Allowing every experience,

To flow through them,

A wave.

Who teaches your youngest children,

To hold onto their pain and joy,

To judge,

To resist pain and grab for joy?

To feel shame, guilt, to resist this precious only moment?

Watch the youngest children,

As they become adept at holding onto, At judging,

The perfection of each moment.

Watch the youngest children,

As shame, guilt and despair,

As righteousness Enters their cellular system,

Causing self hatred…
