Blessed
Not one day when I do not feel a spontaneous moment of gratitude for my precious breath,
Not one day without a moment of deep gratitude for precious nature,
Not one day without a moment of deep unconditional love, without a moment of spontaneous smiling,
Not one day without a moment of gratitude for the divine nurturance that is abundant upon my table,
Not one day without a moment of intense gratitude for my ocean lover, for my lover wind, for the sacredness of my wooden flute as I play in reverence,
Not one day without a moment of rapture of love for the stars, moon, dark spaces,
Not one day without a moment of divine romance for my darling lover.
So please my spirit guides, tell me how do I deal with the other moments?
“Could these other moments be allowing you to surrender with all of your might?
Without these other moments would you feverishly pray for help,
Would you fall on your knees and open to receive?
Could these other moments be prompting you to stretch your capacity for love, to forgive and forget,
Could these moments be prompting you to let go of judging, to pick up the messes for those who cannot?
Would you grow in Compassion if there were no moments of your heart breaking into thousands of pieces of letting go?
Or moments when you stop in your tracks to contain your anger and fall within your heart to speak with compassion?
Perhaps you think these moments are useless?
Perhaps you think your imperfect responses to these moments are useless?
Are your moments of spontaneous gratitude somehow more blessed?
Bow that stubborn head of yours,
Could it be your response to these difficult moments,
That are truly etched,
Within your soul’s growth album,
For prosperity?”
