The Thousand Diamonds

The thousand diamonds,

Are dancing, dazzling in unison,

Twirling from the descending sun,

Across the blue-green sea ripples,

Of heaven’s bliss…

The evening calm is drifting in,

With it's symphony of slow, lapping waves,

Putting on it’s evening performance,

This performance is now here for me alone,

for your soul fan,

Who sits alone among the shaded sand dunes.

I call out to the usher of this grand performance,

A lone gull,

Who is perching upon nearby dune

To reserve me a seat,

On this sacred dune,

For the rest of my life…
