Board Game of Love
Night Fell,
We opened our board game Of love.
This board game,
Of love,
Sending us straight to the Jail of Disconnection,
Our stagnant comfort the winning prize,
Needs quickly shuffled deep into the deck,
Cards of Blame, anger, guilt, shame,
Quickly pulled.
Then one night,
We opened our Board Game of Love.
To my bewilderment,
from the corner of my heart,
I saw for the first time,
“Soul Disconnection”,
Sitting there with us,
With a smirk On it’s face,
Having tea.
I saw within the flicker of it’s cold eyes,
The loneliness of winning,
The humiliation of losing,
The stagnation of disconnection,
The deceit of anger,
The frigid cold of hiding,
The smallness of disappearing,
The deadness of denial,
And it’s cold gaze of truth,
Pierced my heart,
And I felt nausea,
And then it gently bowed it’s holy head at me.
I quickly flung the board game of Love shut,
Threw it Into the fire Of awakening,
Instantly thawing my icy resistance,
I then vowed,
To make friends with this guru of all gurus,
Soul Disconnection…
This board game of love,
Never to be played again…
