Meeting Someone

I want to meet someone,

Who does not have a care in the world,

Someone who has not been thrown to their knees.

I want to meet someone,

Who can honestly say to their beloved,

"Our depth of intimacy is enough for me”.

I want to meet someone,

Who has not unleashed their inner monsters,

Devouring something,

That Was once beautiful.

I want to meet someone,

Someone who has not allowed guilt and shame,

To push them around.

I want to meet someone,

Who feels comfortable,

In a group of inauthentic minds.

I want to meet someone,

Who can say with a bent smile,

“My life is so perfect”.

I want to meet someone,

Who loses everything,

With charm.

I tell you,

I really don't think,

I would like them

At all.

Would You?
