Morning Intention

Waking, Wondering,

What is my morning intention?

And that quiet voice within,

Now louder than any other voice,

Comes.

“This world is in peril.

The peril of forgetting our deepest human heart’s desire,

That is shrouded by our ignorance,

That we are separate from one another”.

“Greed,

The horrific result of forgetting,

That we belong to each other.

We have so quickly forgotten,

In only a moment in the expanse of time,

That our deepest human heart’s desire,

Is the freedom of deep intimacy.

I stand here Looking out at the morning mist rolling over the fields,

Where the coyotes yelped together in freedom and intimacy last night under the free night sky,

And I set my morning intention,

With deepest sadness within my heart.

We are all like cattle walking blindly to the chopping block of disconnection,

That chops off,

The most essential words of the infinite intelligence.

That is whispering within every human heart,

“We belong to each other”.
